I am a visual artist working in pastels watercolour and oils, painting traditional and modern individual pet portraits to commission.
Each pet portrait I complete is as individual as the animal it portrays, I do not work to any set formula and enjoy working on traditional formal portraits as well as the more modern and unusual, I aim to achieve a good physical likeness to my subjects and strive to convey each animals unique character in my work.
I live in a beautiful part of East Sussex on the coast with my husband and our collection of pets, where I love to paint local scenery, my landscape paintings and other works are exhibited locally and in private collections in England, Australia and the USA.
Although my website is in it's infancy I have been painting portraits of my own animals and of friends and family pets for over 30 years, during which time I have developed my own techniques always using quality artist materials.
Animal portraits make wonderful original gifts for pet owners and can provide a comforting and lasting memorial to a beloved pet
