I operate a bespoke pet portrait service, tailored to your specific needs,  having no set method or formula I approach each portrait on a one off basis resulting in a painting as individual as the animal it portrays. I will happily use my skills to acheive whatever style of painting you personally prefer, whether you are looking for a traditional style painting with a detailed background, a simple head study, or a  bold contemporary result.................due to these factors my prices are negotiable and those set out below are stated simply as a guide.                                          

      In order to simplify your choices I have revised my pricing structure to offer just two basic guide prices

These prices represent a single unframed head portrait sized between A4 & A3 on a plain or simple background 

Presentation packaging and "Special delivery" postage to all UK destinations is included in this price*

A) Dry media (pastel or graphite) £180       

B) Wet Media (watercolour or acrylics) £220

 

I am happy to provide a free, no obligation quote for any other specific requirement……for example, smaller/larger paintings, extra/different subjects, full body paintings, detailed backgrounds, Oil paintings or delivery outside UK.

 If you have more specific requirements, or have a limited budget in mind please don't hesitate to contact me.

As a rough guide a single pet portrait painting takes me between 15 and 30 hours to complete, so at busy times (especially in the lead up to Christmas) it is wise to order as early as possible, I am more than happy to store the finished painting until the required date and will consider payments by instalment if you are ordering early for delivery later in the year.

Next Steps
First select a suitable photograph(s) of your pet and send  them to me here or by e-mail to ( kay@pettpaintings.com) or post (529 The Ridge, Hastings, East Sussex, TN34 2SB) ~ please include full contact details and your preferences for the painting. Images should be clear in focus and as large as possible for the best results.
  1. As soon as I have assessed your photographs for suitability I will contact you to discuss the options and prices available, then if you are happy for me to go ahead I will send you an agreement form. 
  2. Print and return the completed form to me with a 20% deposit, you can post a cheque (payable to "SK Prior" please), pay via paypal (to my account info@pettpaintings.com ) Receipt of your deposit secures your place in my work schedule .
  3. I commence work on your painting using your instructions and providing  you with regular progress updates and images whenever possible so that you can comment and discuss any alterations as needed.
  4. When work is complete I will e-mail a  final jpeg image of the painting for your approval , at this stage if you are happy with the painting and decide to complete the purchase, send the outstanding payment  to me by paypal or cheque and on receipt of this I dispatch your painting to you on an agreed date by special delivery.
