Many years ago I worked as the manager of the local RSPCA cats home where I had responsibility for caring for and rehoming hundreds of unwanted and stray cats every year, during this time I became aware of the wonderfully complex characters that hide behind the mysterious feline species and became totally hooked! As a painter I get a special pleasure from  drawing  and painting cats large and small and trying to capture their unique qualities and individual characters on paper.
