I have always been blessed with a deep love and respect for all animals and was fortunate to inherit a natural ability to draw from my father, as I grew up that ability turned to a compelling need to paint and with very little formal training I began experimenting with various methods and materials.

I continued painting whenever time allowed and  after many years spent raising a family and working at a succession of non art related jobs I decided to devote more time and energy to  my artwork.

After many requests I began taking commissions to paint pet portraits and these have proved ever popular with many returning clients, this has meant that I had to conquer a phobia of technology  to maintain a website in order to reach a larger audience.

I am lucky to live with my husband and a small menagerie of pets in a beautiful part of EastSussex where I enjoy the luxury of both coastal and country areas nearby to inspire and fulfil my need to create original artwork
